ChronoTrack's licenced active systems provide a resilient option for use in challenging environments.

We worked closely with ChronoTrack in finding a system to provide the same excellent standard of reads for open water swims that we have come to expect from events using ChronoTrack's  UHF RFID tags for running and cycling events.

The team from ChronoTrack came up with an ingenious solution combining the same market leading controllers timers around the world know and trust, with low profile battery powered tags to provide excellent reads straight out of the water. As the read strength is not impacted by water trapped in wetsuits, the active tags are an excellent option for Open Water Swims providing accurate reads even when worn under a wetsuit.

The active tags are threaded through either a branded neoprene strap, or a disposable strap, and the strap is then securely fastened around the entrant’s ankle. Ask us about custom printing of neoprene straps with your event's logo. The active tags must be returned. Any and all non returned or damaged active tags will be charged at replacement cost.
