With the Manawatu Gorge Road permanently closed. Ferry Reserve now lacks the background rumble of traffic across the SH2 bridge - one of the few benefits from the closure.. Fortunately the cellphone coverage remains strong which augurs well for receiving data from the North Range Trio timing points.
