2023 Rotorua Marathon
A cool damp morning ...
.... set the scene for the 59th Rotorua Marathon.
The Marathon run was, for most of the course, a tightly fought tussle between local favourite Michael Voss, and Malcolm Hicks of Wesley Athletic & Harrier Club. Hicks pulled away over the last couple of kilometres to secure a well earned win.
The local supporters were rewarded with Alice Mason taking women's honours with a 10 minute lead over Auckland's Gabriela Diver.
Penny Purcell was first home in the marathon walk for the second consecutive year.
