.... facilities and grounds provided a superb venue for the New Zealand Secondary Schools Cross Country Championships.
The preparation work of Jacob, Robert, and the other members local organising committee bore fruit with memorable racing over a course in great condition.
Saturday saw dtrong individual performances. Wellington Girl's College dominated the 3 and 6 member female team results, with Westlake Boys the leading 3 and 6 member boys teams.
Papanui High School provided a strong contingent of Para athletes taking home both 3 and 6 member team trophies.
On Sunday the athletes returned for the inter-regional 4 person relay championships, with competition being extended to include mixed gender teams
