2022 Lake Wairarapa Cycle Challenge

.... because of a road closure of the Rimutaka Hill road, Wellington Masters Cycling Club held their Lake Wairarapa Cycle Challenge on 11 December.
The increasing demands placed on events by traffic management regulators have resulted in significant increases in costs and personnel for many Clubs and other event organisers. This has resulted in organisers of many long established events, including the LWCC, to modify courses to try and mitigate these external complications, with the tradiitonal loop being modified to an out and back course on Western Lake Road.
