2022 Rotorua Marathon
A shift from May to September ...
.... did not change the challenge of the Rotorua Marathon.
The teams from Event Promotions, Athletics New Zealand, and Lake City Athletics worked hard to ensure the 2022 Rotorua Marathon was the same great event.
Thre was a significant amount of pressure on local champion Michael Voss to see if he could achieve a third consecutive win - the crowd erupted when Michael entered the finish shute and broke the tape.
Wellington Scottish' Mel Brandon ran a very well judged race to take the women's crown.
Congratulations to all entrants for their achievements.
