2022 WMCC 2 Day Tour

... over Southern Wairarapa roads to determine the winners of the A, B, and C Grades in Wellington Masters Cycling Club's annual 2 Day Tour.
D Grade riders faced 120km, and E and F grades 97km on courses made more challenging by the consistent heat.
Stage one's time trial, and stage three's road race, were over courses familiar from last year; however stage two had been changed to an out and back course from Martinborough down Lake Ferry Road towards Whāngaimoana.
We were delighted to see the large number of entrants meeting not only the challenges provided by the course, but also gracefully meeting the requirements for an event run under the Orange setting of the Covid Protection framework.
