.... Secondary Schools Tough Guy & Gal Challenge to be held post Covid's arrival in New Zealand.
Pupils from schools in Wellington, the Hutt Valley, the Kapiti Coast, Wairarapa, and as far afield as Whanganui travelled to Wainuiomata to try to earn NCEA credits on the challenging 6km and 12km courses..
As always one of the most contested sections was for "Toughest School", with 3 person teams competing for honours. Both produced close results. Paraparaumu College beating Wellington Girls' College by 1 point for the female teams trophy, and Hutt International Boys' School beating Onslow College by 1 point for the male teams trophy.
