2018 Taumarunui Cycle Classic
It starts with a bang.
The massed shot gun start in the main street of Taumarunui gets the adrenalin pumping as the riders wind out over quiet back country roads to Ohura, them back over the Forgotten Highway and a few challenging climbs to Taumarunui.
Michael Torckler took out the 114km event on the line from Logan Griffin in 2:53:51, with Josh Kuysten third and Reuben Thompson fourth.
