The toughest of the Tough for 2018

The last day of the Tough Guy & Gal series in 2018 not only saw hundreds of keen participants challenge themselves on the mud and hills of the Helensville course, but also the invited podium place getters from this year's events battle for the title of National Champion.

By universal consensus the National Champs competitors declared the course to be the toughest of the year, a fitting climax for the series.

Andrew McKelvie from Palmerston North won the mens' title, and Roisin McQuillan from Matamata took the 2018 Womens' title.
