Not half a challenge ...

.. the Foundation Clinic Mauao Half Marathon requires solo entries, or three person teams to complete three circuits and three ascents of the 232m of Mauao/Mount Maunganui.

Although the rain came out to play for a while, it did not dampen the spirits of those taking part in the event.

The sun came out again to welcome the athletes home.
