After the drive to Auckland ...

.. we enjoyed a stroll around Dove-Meyer Robinson Park.

While the roses are the main attraction (Council staff were busy setting up the site for the Parnell Festival of Roses the next morning), we also enjoyed some of the splendid tree specimens, and the carefully thought through sight lines from the well placed benches.
