2020 Porirua Grand Traverse
Whitireia Polytech are the welcoming hosts ..
... for the annual Porirua Grand Traverse.
Multisport and duathlon competitors, mountain bikers, trail runners, kayaker and hundreds of fun runners prepared for their starts in this event which highlights the diverse challenges and scenery in the Porirua basin.
Nico De Wet was the day's first finisher winning the kayak section as he came home at 9:10 a.m., well before many event options had started. The day's last finisher, was Jeremy Wendelken, successfully completing the Multisport solo challenge crossing the FInish line a little after 3:30 p.m. (with his dog).
