Up to the challenge ....
The morning fog drapping the hills may have disguised the challenge of the climb, but challenge it was for the hundreds of pupils seeking to gain their NCEA credits.
Some amazing times were recorded by some of the pupils, with the 12km event being won outright in both Male and Female divisions by Thames High School pupils, and first and third female outright won by pupils from Waiuku College and Morrinsville College.
