A 100k challenge from Rotorua to Taupo

A chapter of New Zealand's road cycling history drew to a close with the running of the Rotorua to Taupo edition of the 100k Flyer.

Fastest male was Josh Page from Hastings in 2:31:25, fastest female Aileen Campbell of Lower Hutt in 2:54:30.

Event Promotions classic event is shifting next year so it may have been appropriate that the weather added to the rider's challenges.
