Meeting at Cyclista in George Street during registration for the Gravel and Tar events were a bunch of cycling enthusiasts taking part in a non-competitive retro cycle event. A very colourful way to lead into a days cycling. Some images are here.

The participants in the three Gravel and Tar events experienced some of the hottest weather in Palmerston North in recent memory, with the UCI 1.2 event a significant challenge over 135km of testing gravel and sealed roads.
