A fabulous day at Lake Karapiro ..
.... welcomed the hundreds of cyclists back to group participation cycling riding the Waikato countryside from Karapiro in Ride Holidays' 100k Flyer.
There was serious competition for the age group rankings, and with many of NZ's best road cyclists competing the battle was on for line honours. Campbell Stewart broke away and held on for a well earned first, with Dylan Kennett heading the chase group home.
Rushlee Buchanan took female line honours with a close sprint for second between Holly Edmonston and Bryony Botha.
Smiles all round and some stunning riding. Thanks to Event Promotions for a great event.
