.... created the challenge at Camp Wainui for the first Secondary Schools Tough Guy & Gal Challenge since Covid's arrival in New Zealand..
After an early morning frost, the day quickly warmed the Wainuiomata foothills to greet the hundreds of pupils trying to meet the hiil, mud, and water challenges to achieve NCEA credits.
As always one of the most contested sections was for "Toughest School", with 3 person teams competing for male, and female, honours. Both sections produced close results. Paraparaumu College beating Wellington Girls' College by 1 point for the female teams trophy, and Hutt International Boys' School beating Onslow College by 1 point for the male teams trophy.
